7 Point-And-Click Adventure Video Game Classics That Deserve A Revival

2. Gabriel Knight

The Gabriel Knight series is the magnum opus of former Sierra employee and fiction writer Jane Jensen, a trilogy of supernatural-themed mysteries that captured the imagination of gamers during the 1990s. The eponymous Gabriel is a struggling horror author with a dark and mysterious past, who finds himself caught up in a voodoo murder case that holds the key to fulfilling his destiny. Sequels saw him investigating Templar conspiracies and the legend of the Holy Grail, as well as hunting vampire-like creatures called Night Visitors. In the Gabriel Knight trilogy, you€™ll find some of the finest storytelling the adventure genre has to offer. It€™s a dark journey and a compelling mystery, coloured by the captivating relationship between the protagonist and his sidekick Grace Nakimura. The first game in the series, Gabriel Knight: The Sins of the Father, was given a glossy remake in 2014, but the chance to see their favourite horror novelist in action in a brand new adventure is something any fan would give themselves up for voodoo sacrifice to see.
