6. The Flog
Speaking of Felicia Day, G&S features her weekly vlog called The Flog. This gives us another chance to see Day not playing a character and just being her quirky self. Some episodes find her completing mundane tasks, such as building IKEA furniture with her Guild co-star Jeff Lewis. If you've ever had to put together something from IKEA, you'll know that there's plenty of room for comedy to naturally flow from the experience. Other times, Day will do some not-so-mundane things, like travel to a farm in the Mojave Desert and milk some goats! What makes these videos so perfect is Day's unflinching enthusiasm to try new things. In one episode, she conquers her fear of heights and learns how to "fly on trapezeses". Even though she says that each time she tries the trapeze it gets scarier, she keeps going at it. It's actually pretty inspiring. She always seems genuinely grateful to meet the people she visits, and never acts like she's doing them a favor by being there.
