5. FetchQuest
FetchQuest is an animated comedy series on G&S that pokes fun at the recent climate of the video game industry. Each episode is a little over three minutes long, but they cram more wittiness into that time than you can hope for. Most of the episodes feature two minutes of clever jokes that riff off of the game industry. They aren't necessarily critical jokes, they just use games as a jumping off point for creating comedy. In some ways that's refreshing. There are already tons of comedic game review shows on YouTube. FetchQuest is more about the humor than anything else, though it does still make some good points. The final minute of each video is dedicated to an original song. The makers take a pop song and change the lyrics to the topic they've discussed. In once case, they take Gangnam Style by Psy and rework it to be an indictment of the tired zombie genre of gaming. A few episodes are entirely songs, including one that pokes fun at casual gamers that only play Call of Duty and Madden. It's all really fun and energetic.
