A lot of classic PlayStation games are available through the Playstation Now service, but many consumers are put off by the fact that they have to digitally re-purchase titles they already physically own - often at a price increase.
Microsoft confirmed during their conference that alongside the Xbox One X, they will be launching backwards compatibility not only for Xbox 360 games, but also for classic Xbox games down the line.
The exact timescale on this is unclear, nor are the actual implications and practical way that the B/C will work, but it's an announcement that those in attendance at E3, and across social media in the following moments, were definitely happy to hear.
