7 Stages Of Relating To An EA Sports Soundtrack

Step 2: Acclimatization

It's the first week of your life in the new year of an EA Sports offering. The sporting calendar has turned its page, it's a new campaign, and all teams believe that this is their year. There's hope for all. By now you've started to get used to things this year. Maybe the controls have been adjusted some, the animations are a little sharper, or your franchise of choice has overhauled a major gameplay element and you're learning the ropes. Along the way, you're also becoming acclimatized to the new soundtrack of your exploits. The novelty has worn off and you're starting to become somewhat familiar with the jams that EA has included this year. Probably a few indie rock tunes, some lesser known rap, some poppy stuff, a couple of songs from artists you've actually heard of. You even started to know the likely order in the very early days of EA Sports soundtracks (less likely in recent years). You're getting used to the soundtrack for sure, but you're still more focused on a new year and a new game. The tunes exist, you know of them, but they're not yet a real concern. It's a crucial stage though.
