When you've got a game utterly littered with iconic and legendary weapons it can be very hard to stand out from the pack, however seeing as the game in question is Dark Souls, a franchise known for utterly trolling players, of course, one of it's best weapons starts out as abjectly the worst item in the game.

Seriously a Dung Pie has more potential than the Broken Straight Sword, and yet with a tonne of item investment, blood, sweat, and very very salty tears, one can turn this blunt letter opening into the Greatsword Of Artorias.

Now as with any discovery made in Dark Souls, this was stumbled upon by some absolute masochist clearly trying to do a run using this pitiful piece of metal, who, after leveling up the sword to +10 and clearly ignoring the braying laughter from their friends, took the sword and infused it with the Soul Of Sif, turning it into a monster cleaving beatstick.

While not being the strongest weapon in the game, what makes this Greatsword so special is the fact that it deals magic damage in addition to physical meaning it can obliterate spirits, has a launcher with its strong attack, and also scales with Faith which is fairly rare in the game, making it a true blessing for those wanting to add a bit of punch to their prayers.

Only drawback? You'll have to most definitely kill Sif. Bless him.
