One of the most notable things to come out of Fowl Original's chat with Virtual Basement lead designer Ashton Andersen was the actual roster itself. This game will be stacked with workers from almost everywhere outside WWE and AEW's walls.

That's a neat idea.

Workers from Ring Of Honor, Impact Wrestling, EVOLVE, MLW, New Japan and more are being rumoured for inclusion in the game. In leaked screenshots that are available right now, it's ROH's Shaheem Ali and O'Shay Edwards who take centre stage, but Fowl claim there's more to come in that department soon.

Being able to match up ROH's finest against New Japan, just as one example, sounds like a barrel of laughs for wrestling's hardcore fans. Plus, it's a product that'll scratch the itch for those wondering if Ring Of Honor would ever get their own game, or if Impact/TNA would ever get a follow up to 2008's release on seventh gen systems.
