7 Upcoming Video Games That Will Waste Their Biggest Selling Points

1. Terry Crews, And Why You Should Own An Xbox One - Crackdown 3

The Xbox One needs games, even if Microsoft are clearly closing shop on it to prepare for the next generation.

Crackdown 3 was once one of those games; something we heard about at the start of 2014, as a "Don't worry, we got you" exclusive that would reinforce why the previous Xmas's new console was a good idea.

Bolt two more years onto the original release of 2016, and we've got the bizarre inclusion of the mighty Terry Crews being stapled onto the game's PR, to score some easy points with the public.

The latter is a solid idea, but with Crews apparently getting in touch to request a role in the game during development, it seems he's been crowbarred into a couple of cutscenes, with overall implementation being an Agent skin/voice pack combo. People purchasing Crackdown 3 as "the Terry Crews game" will likely be sorely disappointed.

The problem... is Crackdown 3 could be mistaken for a remaster of the original. Cloud computing has been ditched and graphics haven't improved. Where once the wider public were glad to see Crackdown or thought about buying an Xbox just to play it, they're now getting a sequel that'll be in some state, at some point... probably.
