5. Watch Dogs Legion Looks Genuinely Cool

Speaking of the next Watch Dogs, though the sequel has long since been rumoured, it was still great to see it in action to kick off Ubisoft's presser. Pretty much everything in the leaks beforehand was confirmed, including the sci-fi London setting and the lack of any one main character, but the ability to jump into the shoes of any NPC you've recruited off the street.

It definitely had the same tongue-in-cheek personality that made the second game so endearing, but the story, all about rebellion and a surveillance state, had the grittiness of the original release's narrative. The combat looked better than ever as well, mixing up the lethal and non-lethal options by having specific characters for specific playstyles, but it was the version of London that the devs had created that was the real draw.

The idea of playing as a bunch of different characters - who vanish from the story if they're killed - sounds admittedly awesome, and could make Legion something special if the devs are able to properly fulfil the potential of the premise.
