7 Video Games Made HARDER With Co-op

2. Overcooked 1+2

The phrase "cooking up a storm" is often used to express when somebody hits the kitchen with a flurry of energy and puts an extreme amount of effort into their work, however when it comes to the video game cook-a-thon known as Overcooked, such an expression comes to mean "I swear to f**k if you don't pass me that !*$% onion, I'll smite you with a bolt of bloody lightning" and is often accompanied by controller throwing that would make a hurricane sweat.

I say this because there is no such thing as a "chill" moment in the Overcooked series, as you'll constantly be chopping, boiling, cleaning, and desperately springing to the pass to serve food. It is relentless, and so to are the cuss words that will spout from your mouth the moment you play this online.

Here someone has to take charge, and barking orders at your friends, when combined with time limits, is never going to make you Captain Popular. In fact, it's going to make the entire experience an utter chore, as if your communication skills aren't up to par, or if your friends go into business for themselves, or just simply can't keep up with the hectic pace, you're going to miss out on those high scores.

Therefore there's actually some sort of simple pleasure playing through the game solo. It's not the intended way to play obviously, but controlling the kitchen at your own pace sure is less stressful than someone chewing you out for burning a stew or ten. I'M SORRY I GET DISTRACTED EASILY.
