7 Worst Online Gaming Communities

2. FIFA 13 (Xbox 360,PS3)

The first of the two heavy hitters that dominate online console gaming, EA Sports highly acclaimed football series continues to grow. FIFA 13 has sold over 10 million copies, making it one of 2012's biggest games. But even before the game was released, cheaters threatened to destroy the game for millions. When the Ultimate Team Web App was launched, a glitch through Firefox meant some sneaky users could obtain unlimited funds to build superstar teams. The app was temporarily taken offline resulting in legit users being frozen out. When EA eventually released a patch, hackers had already developed another technique which involved dummy cards. Dummy cards flooded the marketplace and crippled the in game infrastructure. So much for fair play amongst fellow fans. FIFA 13 is also home to some of the worst sore losers online. Score in the first 10 minutes and you will more often than not find yourself back in matchmaking as your opponent disconnects. Then there's the usual problems that have plagued the game for the last few years-speed spamming, over celebrating of goals and the constant abuse you receive if you win a game. Hopefully EA can implement a stronger sense of community with FIFA 14.
