1. The Witcher - Alvin's True Identity

In this famous series, player take on the role of Geralt of Rivia, a sword-for-hire monster hunter known as a Witcher. The story of the original game focuses on the group Salamandra who has stolen the elixirs and potions used to create Witchers for their own nefarious means, and it's up to Geralt to track and stop the group.

During his travels, Geralt meets a boy named Alvin who happens to be a powerful magic wielder. Known as Sources, these people are rare sorcerers with powers that can change both space and time. Unfortunately, the power proves too much for this boy to control, so Geralt gives Alvin an amulet that should help.

After some shennigans, Alvin eventually disappears from the game and Geralt continues his quest. Later on, Geralt learns Salamandra is working with another organization called The Order of the Flaming Rose. This religious, non-human despising order is led by a man known as Jacques de Aldersberg - the game's ultimate villain and end boss.

Geralt being the badass he is, eventually pursues and kills the man. Only to find out that Jacques de Aldersberg is wearing the amulet Geralt gave to Alvin. The two are one and the same, with the child having time travelled and transformed into a monster.
