Batman: Arkham Knight - 8 Identity Theories You Can Stop Believing

2. It's In Bruce Or Hush's Mind

Similar to the 'Hallucination Theory' earlier on, there are just far too many independent pieces in play right now for this all to be some manifestation of either Bruce or Hush's psyche. Already a bonkers theory if ever there was one, a fan-favourite for the sheer shock factor of it all is that throughout Arkham Knight you're not actually playing as Bruce at all, but Hush. What you see as the Knight is Batman trying to stop you, with the whole thing being one hell of a bad episode assumedly ending with whichever character rocking back and forth in an Arkham prison cell. With the Elecetrocutioner being killed by the Knight, all extra villains operating with their own overarching scheme at hand and Bruce himself having many conversations with Oracle and Alfred, this already-ridiculous theory is stretched to breaking point.
