Two martial arts experts facing off against each other in a gladiator-type duel, who wouldn't get excited about this. Occurring early on in the game, the fight with Deathstroke demanded the most concentration of all the Origins bosses. Deathstroke is at the least Batman's equal in hand to hand combat, he punishes sloppy mistakes and will never allow Batman the upper hand for too long. If the player ignores Slade's moves just for a second they can find their health bar down significantly. This one took me multiple tries to complete as both patience and concentration are required to overcome Deathstroke. Thankfully the freeflow combat looks amazing so I didn't mind watching Deathstroke and Batman fight it out. What I perhaps enjoyed most about their duel was how the game reused the repeated blocking and beatdown segment from the Ra's al Ghul boss battle. Watching Batman break away parts of Deathstroke's armour and weaponry was satisfying as the player gradually grows in confidence to defeat him.
