Made famous in the film, "King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters", the Donkey Kong Kill Screen is one of the rarest achievements in gaming that most of us will never see in real life. Only the truly dedicated will get past 22 levels of arduous barrel jumping and actually achieve the "ending". Though not a glitch, the kill screen is more of an oversight on the developer's part. Back when the game was being developed no one thought anyone would have the patience or quarters to get past that many oil drums or fireballs. No one predicted the internet for that matter, which has made achieving a kill screen much easier for those few with a cabinet in their garage and a lot of time on their hands to carefully calculate their jumps in the ultimate goal of saving the princess. Other unwinnable games include Duck Hunt, Pac-Man and Dig Dug.
