8 Biggest Pain In The Ass Gaming Achievements

3. Grand Theft Auto V - "Above The Law"

Playing GTA V Online can either be a rewarding experience or it can make you want to pull your hair out in clumps at a time. Playing nicely with others is not an attribute most GTA Online players demonstrate. Shoot first and ask questions later is a common theme among players making getting to missions or completing awards a difficult task while being shot at by some maniac in a Rhino. Other players tend to be a distraction rather than a compliment to the gameplay. Reaching Level 100 in GTA Online may seem like a simple level up trophy but it soon dominates your life for days on end, joining lobby after lobby in the hopes of quickly acquiring enough rank points to level up long enough to get the achievement and never have to visit Los Santos again. At least in online mode. While GTA Online has seen its fair share of glitches, Rockstar seems to have gotten hold of the situation. In the game's early days players were greeted with bugs that cost players cars, cash and even characters making starting over from scratch the only viable option for getting this achievement. Recent additions of a beta content creator have made "playing on your own" quite fun, giving gamers the option the conjure up their best deathmatches and races on their own time and giving them RP for every match built and played. Rockstar might want to rethink their model in future GTA online modes in terms of player interactions. As it is now, driving down the street or simply pulling out of your own driveway can quickly cost you your character's life as well as that fancy new customized Adder complete with "La Cucaracha" car horn. And making an insurance claim to get that Adder back quickly adds up if you're not a millionaire. Some tasks feel much better suited playing with friends or strangers that are brave enough to play with you. Running from the bounty on your head while being chased by a helicopter is much more fun when other players actually want to help you rather than obliterate you. Make achievements for helping strangers get away from cops or other players. Give them RP for picking a player's car in a Cargobob and setting it down safely away from the Trevors of the world. Make interacting with other players a goal rather than a chore. Besides, it's a lot easier to lob grenades at a helicopter when you're sitting co-pilot.

I enjoy watching bad movies and over analyzing them, the worse the better. I have a pet frog named IHOP and a vast collection of lightsabers.
