6. Rainbow Six: Las Vegas 2s Online Adversarial Mode
The first words out of the mouths of every Rainbow Six fan I talk to are usually about how this is still the one game they play most online. Death Match, Team Death Match, Team Leader and the less popular Attack and Defend are the options available for those who look for online action on this amped up sequel. Theres something so simple about it and I think this is why I prefer it to any of the online options for other shooter games. Two teams, with up to fourteen players - you can be tactical or you can just wreak havoc on each of the games brilliantly designed maps. Not to mention that you can fully choose your load-out equipment. Thats two guns and two gadgets as well as your armour and uniform, meaning you have the ability to completely personalise your game. You dont have to choose between sharp-shooter or demolition man - you can be both. Team Leader especially displays the games finesse for all things tactical as your mission is to ensure the safe extraction of one of the players on your team, referred to as the leader. This can be achieved by escorting them through the map or eliminating the other team. But to do that, you must eliminate the other teams leader first to ensure their men stop respawning. And dont forget, youre earning XP with every kill, meaning all your hard work is measured and recognised with a corresponding rank. How long will it take you to reach Elite?
