8. Cauldron Zeta Thunderjaw - Horizon Zero Dawn

Depending on how far you wander off the beaten path and begin collecting the necessary codes to unlock them, Horizon's underground Cauldrons can be tackled in a variety of orders, though they always end with a showdown.

Worst of the bunch is inside Cauldron Zeta, where you'll most likely get your first look at a towering Thunderjaw, Zero Dawn's version of a T-Rex. Where fighting these things out in the wild or later in the story isn't too bad thanks to the greater space afforded to evade and stay on your toes, battling one inside an enclosed dome can be a total nightmare.
