Don't you just hate it when certain boss battles have no respect for your real life?

I enjoy a good tussle every once in a while (it's why James Dowse and I started the naked fireside wrestling federation) but I have avocados in the fridge that are about to go off and so I really do need to be popping off soon. Therefore can you imagine my annoyance when it came to fighting Yiazamat from Final Fantasy 12 and realizing that, on a good day, this boss battle would take literally hours to grind through?

I understand that you're trying to sell this monster as the be-all and end-all Square Enix, but this was akin to chaining me to my console and then slapping me in the face with total party kill moves every ten minutes or so.

What makes this such a loathsome boss battle, beyond its ridiculous health pool and time sink, is the fact that if you're unlucky and don't do enough damage within a certain time limit, Yiazamat will heal itself to full and you'll have to start chipping away at Mt f**k-you all over again!

Thus Yiazamat became a truly hated boss battle the more you were forced to fight it, as the more time you spend trying to beat it down, the more you realized you were effectively trying to chuck the deck chairs off the Titanic as a disastrous time was headed your way no matter what you tried doing.
