1. Nuclear Disarmament (Metal Gear Solid V)

Although Metal Gear Solid V’s multiplayer component wasn’t all that good, its central premise was. Invading the bases of other players to steal their resources had a great risk/reward angle, but it was the mission to disarm their nukes that was the most compelling.

In an attempt to get players to work together, Hideo Kojima and his team hid a secret cutscene at the end of the game if everyone was to achieve total nuclear disarmament, with no player in the world holding onto a warhead.

Obviously, it turned out getting everyone to throw up their arms and relinquish their A-Bombs (or forcibly taking them away) was about as easy as getting people in the real world to give them up, and this cutscene hasn’t actually officially been triggered. Of course, that didn’t stop it from accidentally making its way onto the internet.
