8. I Scream, You Scream, We All Cream - Hitman Absolution

If you’re a fan of the Hitman games, you’ll know how fun it is to plan out an intricate murder involving all sorts of well timed distractions and “accidents” (or in the case of my regular playthroughs, a panicked rush of throwing anything not nailed down and then legging it dressed as a flamingo pursued by every armed guard in the area).

Either way, bosses aren’t something that are very common in the game outside of the final targets. If you’re being really really loose with the concept, you could count each target as a boss of sorts for how they challenge you to think outside of the box. Enter Lenny, who is pretty much the only character that manages to make it through two missions with old baldy here on his tail. The secret way you can end him makes this encounter all the more memorable.

You see, “End of The Road” contains a scene in which Lenny is digging his own grave as Agent 47 looks on while taking a munch of an apple. You can choose to shoot the man, leave him in the desert, or if you’re feeling creative, why not shoot the buzzards nearby and ice Lenny in a different manner?

If you pick off these carrion you’ll be treated to an ice cream truck screaming across the screen and ploughing into the man before zooming off into the distance. It’s so utterly brilliant it had to be included, even though it’s not that difficult to Mr Pistol Whippy Lenny into the dirt.
