4. Red Dead Redemption 2

By far the biggest release of the year, although fans and critics are eagerly looking forward to seeing what Rockstar have been working on in the almost seven years since the original Red Dead Redemption, not everything the developers have released from the sequel so far has inspired confidence.

Already being delayed from its initial late 2017 window to a similarly vague Spring 2018 date, Rockstar have been coy with committing to anything more solid. That's enough to set off alarm bells, but it's the lack of footage released for the game which has been the biggest indicator that not everything is going smoothly.

So far fans have only had two trailers and a handful of screenshots to pick apart, a scant amount of pre-release publicity for a game allegedly releasing in a few months.

Again, it probably won't be a huge delay, but considering the title is supposed to drop pretty soon, and taking into account how little the developers have actually shown (there's still no in-game footage to speak of), it's likely that RDR 2 could be pushed to the fall.
