8 Imposing Video Game Bosses (That Secretly Suck)

5. Lucien - Fable 2

When you have a narrative as expansive and immersive as Fable, it's always going to be a hard task pulling things together to tie up the narrative nicely. Fable 1 did a good job with the complex and actually really impressive Jack of Blades encounters and at least Fable 3 tried to up the ante with the invasion of dark and unknown forces, but Fable 2's ending?

Well it boiled down to one button press.

It was utterly flabbergasting to have things end in such short order, especially when the character of Lucien had been built up across the game to be this incredibly imposing figure. After all, this is the man who killed your sister and then shot you out of a window leaving you for dead, this man took everything from you and set about turning the world into a dark shadow of its former self. This man, you were told, was the living embodiment of a desperate and irreversible evil. And yet you popped his clogs with just a nudge of one of the face buttons.

And because of this Lucien absolutely sucked.
