8 More Incredible Gaming Characters Who Only Appeared In ONE Game

6. Kreia - Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II

When it comes to talking about Star Wars there are a few things that are pretty much set in stone, namely that lightsabers are very cool, that stormtroopers can't hit the broadside of a barn, and that the Light and Dark Side of the force will be in constant conflict until the end of time itself.

However, that last point actually came under a hefty dose of pushback thanks to the brilliant character of Kreia who appeared in Knights Of The Old Republic II, as this was a figure who didn't seek to master either side of The Force but to destroy it entirely. The reasons for this, which are drip-fed throughout the game are because she views Free Will as the most important thing to life itself, and believes that as long as The Force exists it will shape the very fate of existence and cause nothing but death and destruction along the way.

It's this philosophy of a rejection of The Force itself that makes Kreia such a compelling villain, if that's even the right word to call her, as on a base level, she's kind of right (albeit going about it in heinous ways). This coupled with the fact that she's a genuinely likeable character while she's under the guise of your mentor, makes the ultimate betrayal and choices she presents all the more affecting.

While the ending of this game may have been rushed to hit deadlines, Kreia's impact on the title is felt throughout and still emerges as one of the best Star Wars video game characters ever.
