Fire Emblem: Three Houses is another JRPG but this time the breaking doesn’t come in the form of a code destroying bug, it comes in the form of a character who can be specced out so perfectly that she barely needs back up.

It doesn’t hurt that she’s pretty much the coolest student in Three Houses so at least that tracks.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses offers up a massive suite of characters that you can take on from, you guessed, three different houses. You’ll have even more if you’re a completionist with a nagging need to get everything right and recruit every possible character in games like this like I am. Just recruiting her won’t be enough, though, you’ll need to optimise her to be the best she can be and that isn’t to become the Gremory class most people pop her into but a Dark Knight.

Do this and give her the +2 range relic and stick a Dancer by her side and she’ll one shot any boss in front of her. A big part of this is her unique Mastermind ability that grants her double skill experience earned in battle, and that’s something everyone can appreciate as a huge bonus even if you’re Fire Emblem illiterate.

She’ll also get Canto so she can’t be attacked back and just obliterates everyone on the field as well as the game’s difficulty curve so there you go.
