8 Most Beautiful (But Deadly) Areas In Video Games

1. The Black Garden - Destiny

And finally, we have Destiny's Black Garden - a bizarre realm situated outside of space and time, which in the first game players venture to in order to rip its heart out. Yup.

The Black Garden is a mouth-watering location to behold, though, defined by its seemingly never-ending array of colourful flora and fauna, lush waterfalls, and entrancing statues.

Lovely though it is to simply sit in a field of flowers and enjoy the moment, you probably shouldn't stick around in the Black Garden for too long, given the utterly WTF lore surrounding the place.

That is to say, prolonged exposure to its environment can be extremely hazardous - some have spoken of a "brain stain," whereby those who spend a long time in the Garden end up with thousands of seeds growing into their skull, giving it the "pitted texture of a strawberry."

Can we say "ewww"?

Needless to say, this place will be pretty traumatic for anyone suffering from trypophobia. You probably shouldn't spend any more time here than is absolutely necessary, as pretty and inviting as it looks at a cursory glance.
