8 Pokémon That Are Way Bigger Than You Think

There is somewhat of a logic problem in the Pokémon games, namely that tiny Pokémon like Squirtle are able to learn the move Surf, despite the fact that they are far too small to carry any trainer across the water. Wailmer however, does not have this problem.

It is well known that at an enormous 47' 07" tall, Wailord is the tallest Pokémon currently registered in the Pokédex. Naturally, Wailmer doesn't get anywhere near as much attention for its size as its evolved form, but Wailord doesn't overshadow its baby brother as much as you would think.

Measuring in the Pokédex at 6'7", the generation three Pokémon is actually a lot taller than it seems, towering over almost any trainer that catches it, even before evolution. While this may be unexpected, it is certainly more realistic, particularly when it comes to surfing.
