8 Pokémon That Are Way Bigger Than You Think
1. Arbok
Much like Dratini and Dragonair, Ekans and Arbok are two more deceptively large serpents. At an impressive 6'7", Ekans is bigger than any trainer would think, measuring at the same height as Venusaur and Tyranitar. Yet once Ekans evolves at level 22, it almost doubles in size to an 11'6" Arbok, which to put into context is basically the same size as Nagini from Harry Potter.
In the Pokémon TV show, Arbok is rarely shown without its trainers, and when next to Jesse and James, it is easy to underestimate the size of the generation one Poison type, as the majority of the creature is slithering along the flat ground.
The most shocking thing about Arbok, is that its height is on the same level as Groudon, the literal embodiment of the Earth's land. This certainly puts Arbok in a new light, and makes the idea of being Wrapped by it even more terrifying than before.
Not only does Arbok measure up to Groudon, it actually towers above other Legendary and Mythical Pokémon such as Solgaleo, Kyurem, and Arceus.
