8 Reasons The Witcher 3 Will Be One Of 2015's Best Games

6. It Was Delayed Until The Developers Felt It Was Perfect

The third Witcher game has been delayed twice. Most game companies just wouldn't go to such lengths to make sure their product was perfect. Games often have to work to release day deadlines, and because of all the media advertising based around these dates, delaying the game in question can sometimes be impossible. This can result in a sub-standard product getting released, usually filled with bugs, *cough* Unity *cough*. CD Projekt Red took the very brave and unpopular decision to delay the game not once, but twice, citing the reason being "a desire to put out the best quality game possible". They didn't care about public outcry, they knew all that will be forgot about when an amazing, bug-free game gets released. Very few titles get so hyped and then delayed for so long, but the devs were only going to release Wild Hunt when they felt it was perfect, and no sooner. We can also pretty much guarantee Wild Hunt won't suffer from 'The Evil Within' style console-to-PC bad porting. The game was designed on - and meant for - PCs, and will be optimised to run on them.
