8 Reasons The Witcher 3 Will Be One Of 2015's Best Games
5. No Need To Have Played The Previous Games
The Witcher has an enormous amount of lore. From the world's history, political groups, monsters and important characters, it's an awful lot of information to take in. Even those who have played a Witcher game before would struggle to recount all of the universe's finer points. Anyone who has recently started playing Dragon Age: Inquisition may of found they're struggling to remember a lot of aspects of the game, such has been the length of time since they last visited Thedas. Luckily, it has been claimed that Wild Hunt will be easy to understand for those who have never even heard of the Witcher. Obviously having some experience of the previous two incarnations will help people understand what's going on, but CD Projekt RED know that not everyone will be lucky enough to of entered Geralt's world before. The devs have promised WIld Hunt can be played as a "standalone" game, with slow character and plot development that allows newcomers to understand what's going on. One member of CD Projekt Red even suggested this third Witcher game would be the best starting point for those new to the games.
