4. Combat Is Even Better Than The Last Game

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was famed for its combat mechanics; to such an extent that a whole gameplay mode, separate from the narrative of the main game, was added. Using a combination of spells, swordplay and abilities, this combat is one of the standout elements of the series. However, as excellent as the previous game's combat is, CD Projekt Red believe they can do better. Now having five times the number of combat animations as the last game, you can see from the recently released trailers how much more fluidly Geralt now moves when fighting. With signs, swords, crossbows, bombs, and different special moves at your disposal, the combat in Witcher 3 will be the best the series has seen, likely besting its closest RPG competitor: Skyrim. Oh, and you can force push a dude off a horse.
