8 Secret Video Game Endings Not Worth Your Time

Aaaah Harvest Moon, a game about escaping the humdrum of city life in order to become one with nature.

Now on paper the idea of toiling the land each and every day as a farmer might not sound like an exhilarating video game experiences, but trust me once this game hits you with it's hot hoeing action and sinks it's chibi teeth in deep you'll be channeling the raw fury of that one character in Avatar: The Last Airbender and wake up at 4am in a cold sweat yelling "my cabbages!"

Truth be told barely a moment goes by in this game without you being reminded of a task that needs completing or animals that need care and attention. Plus on top of all of the farm maintenance there's social bonds to make and even a marriage on the table if you play your cards right! I tell yah it can all get a bit too much sometimes, and thus it might actually be tempting to just smack the rooster on "snooze" and hit the hay for a few extra hours.

In fact it's through snoring up a hooley that you can actually unlock one of the games secret endings, as if you decide to wake up, head to bed and rinse repeat for THREE YEARS you'll unlock the "complete failure ending" which sees your family chew you out for being bone idle, and then your character run off and even leave the dog behind! It's so gut-punchingly sad and an ending that actively requires you to do nothing for three whole years, meaning that it's been a waste of everyone's time especially your own.
