8 Secret Video Game Endings Not Worth Your Time

If there's anything that developers From Software love more than oversized bosses that quite literally wipe their backside with you over and over, it's offering up video games loaded with alternative and secret endings. Some you'll get from defeating certain bosses, others from refusing certain choices, and of course, there's the classic example of an ending locked away behind whether or not you give rice to a wee lad.

Yeah, it's as weird as it sounds. Yet it's not the worst ending in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice as that dishonor definitely goes to the Shura Ending which basically plays out as such. So you think you're a warrior protector that is bound by an Iron Code to look after the Young Prince? Well, what if your dear old Owl Dad goes "c'maaaaaaan" with a question mark at the end? Well that's all I need to hear in order to ditch this squirt and attempt to kill him!

However you just done GOOFED my friend, because now you're going to have to face two bosses back to back in order to unlock the worst ending of the game, an ending that will see you turn into an actual demon and destroy everything that you sought to protect whilst also killing all your friends, and your Dad for good measure. Sweet.

Weirdly enough this ending is technically the quickest to unlock seeing as you make this choice midway through the game, but it's so downbeat and locked behind two incredibly challenging fights that it feels like an utter waste of your time seeking it out, especially seeing as you'll need to go back through the next run on New Game + completely under leveled seeing as you tapped out of the experience before truly unlocking the flow of combat and improving your stats. So you've royally hampered two playthroughs at once! Nice one!
