7. Siding With Pagan Min - Far Cry 4
Pagan Min wastes no time confirming he's a violent psycho in Far Cry 4. Shortly after his introduction, he stabs one of his men to death, and later jams a pair of chopsticks in some poor bloke's back at the dinner party he forces you to attend at gunpoint.
Needless to say, not many players stuck around when they're given the chance to give Min the slip when he leaves the room in the opening scene, but those who did were rewarded with a surprise alternative ending.
If you hold your horses for 13 minutes after Min excuses himself, he will eventually return. Rather than kill you, the baddie will take you on a helicopter ride to a nearby shrine where you can scatter your mother's ashes as planned, explaining his relationship to the protagonist along the way.
Before the credits roll, Min says: "Maybe now we can shoot some !*$% guns". That can be interpreted in one of two ways: either the protagonist has joined forces with the villain, or the game is telling you to start over and play it properly.
