Gamers aren't exactly the most cooperative of folk, and more often than not we find it funnier to screw someone over in an online game, rather than actually win. But somehow, gamers and non-gamers alike set that urge aside (for the most part) and managed to coordinate amongst millions of people in order to complete Pokemon.

It was genuinely impressive to have millions of people across the world working together to complete a game, despite the number of people who coordinated in amongst themselves to try and mess it up. Whilst Pokemon was a relatively easy game, it was still a feat to have so many people on the internet working together for once.

Whilst Twitch plays Dark Souls was admittedly a little more impressive, it didn't have the factor of so many people. Because in the end, it comes down to the fact that someone managed to make the internet work together. Which I'm pretty sure is one of the seven signs of the apocalypse.
