8 Things EA's UFC 4 Must Do Better Than UFC 3
3. A More Personal Career Mode
While the career mode was vastly improved from UFC 2's hollow offerings, there is still massive room for development to change it into a more fulfilling journey for players to go on.
Instead of seeing brief cut-scenes of your character's journey through press conferences and news reports, UFC 4 should allow everyone to fully experience these massive milestones in your fighter's road to the top.
Let players choose to be a cocky, loud-mouthed star or a humble grand-master through their choices rather than a 5-second snippet of them flexing on a podium at a predetermined point.
In reality, it may only boil down to choosing how to gesture or a choice of pre-made statements to shout into a mic, but it would go a long way in breaking the tedium of viewing the same training games over and over.
Actually living the full weigh-ins or heckling your rival across a stage before finally throwing down on the big night is just a natural addition the career mode needs to thrive in UFC 4.
