8 Things Steam OS Needs To Become An Alternative To Windows

7. A Reliable Working Environment

Thinking about what will make SteamOS stand out, it's easy to forget that a lot of people don't want to have to boot two different operating systems to experience the best of both worlds. Sometimes, even gamers have to do stuff to earn monies, and having Windows installed only to use Microsoft Office makes absolutely no sense. It might be a smart thing to implement some sort of an all-in-one Office bundle that could work with pretty much every file type under the Internet sun. A customized, sleek OpenOffice distribution could be the simplest answer to this. Perhaps making it a built-in app is the best solution. This would alleviate the need to use multiple operating systems and simplify the whole work process. Maybe they could add achievements, too.
