Yuke's got sick of 2K's sh*t and decided to bolt after WWE 2K19. That, infamously, left 2K20 behind schedule. As almost everyone reading this will know, the project went on to be an abject disaster and a stain on WWE gaming history. The good news for Yuke's lovers is that the famous developer isn't done with wrasslin' yet.

They're in charge of AEW's first title.

What's that sound in the distance? It's probably the merriment of applause as people from the future enjoy the fruit of Yuke's labours. Being honest, there's no way they're going to screw this up - Yuke's has consistently shown that they love pro wrestling, and they'll be motivated to work on a new IP like this.

Kenny Omega seemed thrilled to have Yuke's on board too. If he was giddy about that though, then the new AEW World Title challenger was positively frothing at what came a little later in the press conference. This is one gamers have been waiting on for a long time...
