2. The Future Of Destiny 2

To say that Destiny 2 had a pretty rocky start would be quite the understatement, as the pie was very much all over the much-hyped sequel's face after the almighty tumble it took out of the gates.

With critics and fans ripping apart the generic storyline to its insta-mash level of effort with regards to dialogue and end-level content, it seemed that Bungie had dropped a duce with this second entry. However, instead of holding down the flush and praying the pipes wouldn't get clogged, the team took to the community for some answers on how to improve things going forward.

In a move that took everyone by surprise, Bungie even invited the top players and streamers of the game to their home studio in order to sit down and work out what was not just best for the game but the community as a whole, and to their credit, the devs actually bloody listened.

Within months of these initial meetings, patches, and content drops were rolled out for players around the world much to the delight of the fanbase who clung on, all fuelled by real players with a vested interest in making the game better.
