8 Video Game Enemies Defeated By Doing Absolutely Nothing

1. Every Boss - Ikaruga

For this final entry I have to admit while you’re not actually shooting or attacking the bosses in this game, you do have to dodge a LOT of bullets coming your way. However, this is totally worth it when you consider how utterly crazy some of these end of stage foes can be in Ikaruga.

Sometimes, the mesmeric miasma of bullets on screen looks like one of those magic eye pictures.

All you have to do is get through the level to the bosses themselves and then DON’T attack, just flip between the light and dark defences of your ship and weather the storm for 100 seconds. Do that and the bosses will simply fly off and count themselves beaten. It is not easy and I know that some of you might be like “well this is hardly doing nothing” but think about it this way:

The game rewards you, on EVERY level, by not attacking. The sheer consistency of this tactic is list worthy alone right? And it’s ever so slightly easier than shooting the bosses in some cases so if anything I’ve helped those out there looking to get through this bullet hell. And for that you should be thanking me
