8 Video Game Enemies Who Stole Your Moves

2. Taskmaster - Spider-Man

Imagine being Peter Parker, sailing through the air like only a Spider-Man can, and watching a bad guy twist and turn around you. You'd probably laugh to yourself at the expression on their face which is likely some sort of confusion and rapidly onsetting motion sickness as they spin away from you. However there's something slightly wrong with this picture, as on second viewing it's not actually them that's hurtling through the air and about to connect with the concrete, that's you.

Congratulations my friend you've felt the uncanny force of your own move applied to you by the one and only Taskmaster! And my god is that going to need surgery!

While traveling through the outstanding 2018 iteration of Spider-Man you may come across a beacon asking for your help, travelling to the waypoint will see you swatted out of the sky by The Taskmaster who wants to put your skills to the test in a very literal sense seeing as the bloody cheeky ape outright steals them!

Hitting you with a dropkick that Bret Hart would be happy with before launching into one of your own finishers, Taskmaster puts you on the back foot immediately and sets the tone for a challenging fight.

Deflecting all your regular moves and countering with imitations of his own, Taskmaster makes it clear that you're going to need to use items in your arsenal that he can't read, and thus begins a rampant fumble through your utility belt in a manner that would make Batman sweat. It's a brilliant test of adapting to new challenges and will push even seasoned Spooder-men to their limits.

Jules Gill hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
