8 Video Game Enemies Who Stole Your Moves

1. Corvus - Thymesia

Now to the precisely three of you that played last year's supremely underrated Dark Souls clone Thymesia, you'll likely remember the boss battle against Corvus as being one of the absolute standout moments of the entire experience, and for the rest of you? Well, you're in for a treat.

The boss battle against Corvus is the culmination of the entire game's story, serving as a final boss and a very on-the-nose metaphor of a being battling his own memories and reality.

Throughout the experience, you're made painfully aware that Corvus has had his memory wiped and is reliving echoes in order to figure out precisely what lead to the downfall of all he once held dear. Therefore squaring off against a mirror copy of yourself in the final boss battle really feels apt.

However, that doesn't erase the sting you'll feel from having your chops thoroughly busted by your own moves. At distance Corvus will throw barbed feathers, up close he'll summon astral weapons from your own arsenal, and he'll even try and plant his boot in your face from time to time to launch into the air.

Every other boss fight in the game fails to muster this level of tension, and no other enemy will force you to adapt as much as a character who literally uses all your best moves against you.

This is quite literally a case of "stop hitting yourself".
