8 Video Game Glitches Too Awesome To Hate

7. Super Slide - The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time

If you felt like Link was a bit of a lollygagger in The Legend of Zelda: Oracina of Time, fear not, because ever-trusty glitchers cooked up an explosive way to move faster than ever before.

The Super Slide move allows players to basically moonwalk their way across the map at great speed, as though they're travelling on one of those giant airport escalators - if it were invisible, of course.

Pulling the glitch off requires a touch of propulsion and a splash of acrobatics, though. You need to shield-drop a bomb before rolling forward, backflipping, and rolling forward again into the bomb with your shield raised while spamming the A button.

It takes some practice, but if done correctly will send Link frantically hurtling backwards across the map, the only drawback being that, at least with this version of the glitch, there's no way to turn while sliding around like Michael Jackson on a truckload of, er, stimulants.

Beyond the sheer amusement and time-saving factor of the glitch, it also allows you to clip through walls and, surely best of all, even skip some of Navi's annoying chitchat, because who needs that in their life?
