8 Video Game Glitches Too Awesome To Hate

In the interest of diversity we promised ourselves we'd only include one flight-based glitch, but choosing between Skyrim's Space Program and Grand Theft Auto IV's Swing-Set of Death was quite literally impossible.

The latter glitch involves driving to one of the many swings littered around Liberty City, several of which will suddenly catapult the player, vehicle and all, into the air with a literally awesome level of force.

With GTA IV using Rockstar's innovative RAGE physics engine, the results are frequently insane and always hilarious, your car of choice being lobbed halfway across the map if you're lucky.

And per the game's delicious ragdoll physics, it all gets extra fun if you decide to exit your car just as the catapult kicks in, flinging you balletically through the air before you eventually arrive at an unavoidably sudden stop.

If you've played much of GTA IV, there's a good chance you've spent an indecent amount of time pissing around with this glitch, which has produced more collective hours of entertainment for mankind than most other video games in their entirety.

If you're ever having a bad day and need to lift your mood, GTA IV's cursed swing-set will lift your spirits in record time.
