And finally, we have "Birth of the Conservation Movement" from Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare DLC.

For as frivolous and absurd as this expansion might seem, it delivers some brutal truth bombs about human nature in this horrific side quest, where the player is tasked with hunting down and killing six sasquatches in the Tall Trees area.

Protagonist John Marston accepts the mission under the belief that the sasquatches eat human babies to survive, but when he confronts the final sasquatch at the end of the mission, he finds only a sobbing creature begging John to shoot him.

As it turns out, the sasquatch reveals that his kind only eat berries and mushrooms - not babies - and that because John has killed all the other sasquatches, this one is the last of his species.

The distraught creature, unable to face a life of solitude, again begs John to kill him, at which point the player can decide to either comply with his request or leave him be.

For a side mission that most players assumed would just be a bit of a laugh, it sure got super heavy super fast.
