8 Video Game Special Moves That Made You Say WHAT?!

7. My Final Heaven - Final Fantasy VIII

When it comes to the Final Fantasy games, there are plenty of ridiculous moves, spells, and summons to choose from, and in all honesty, it was tough not to put the FFIX Ark summon in this list due to the fact that its animation is slower than tidal erosion and sometimes deals less damage than a regular attack from your party.

However, I then remembered how utterly off the rails things got in Final Fantasy VIII in virtually every aspect. From its bonkers timey-wimey plot, to its villains that read from the "big book of shitheads", and of course DOOMTRAIN TOOT TOOT, there are a lot of eyebrow-raising interactions to be found. Yet today I want to talk about my main man who should act as the poster boy for "never ever getting a face tattoo" Zell Dincht and his ridiculous special move "My Final Heaven"

Zell's Limit Break allows the player to enter into a one-on-one fighting mini-game, and depending on what combos you input you'll see our spikey-headed fool drop massive heel kicks, flurries of punches and headbutts that will rock the bones of your foes. In addition, the more combos you put in the higher the chance of unleashing more powerful attacks, the ultimate of which being "My Final Heaven".

Summoning all of his power, Zell rushes towards his enemy, only to....completely bypass them and zoom off into the distance. We then cut to Zell running around the entire globe, only to come back and land a single punch on his opponent. It's utterly ridiculous, especially seeing as there's a high chance the move won't kill them, meaning he wasted an incalculable amount of energy for very little.

Classic Zell, am I right?
