8 Video Game Special Moves That Made You Say WHAT?!

4. Grovel - God Hand

So God Hand, for those of you unlucky enough to have not played it, is a title that lets you race chihuahuas, fight a gorilla in a wrestling mask, and of course kick people so hard in the balls that they die, making it both the best and weirdest experience you can have on the PlayStation 2.

It's a game that doesn't take anything seriously, and is packed to the rafters with special moves that are outlandishly over the top and wince-inducingly painful looking. Yet of all the Roulette special moves you have access to, there is but one which will make you pull a face akin to when a Crypto bro starts trying to tell you NFTs are due for a comeback in 2024, and that's the Grovel "special move".

Whereas every other move in your arsenal is about dishing out the damage, humiliating your opponent, or achieving instant enlightenment for a quick health boost, Grovel takes you out of the fight, quite literally in fact, and lowers your current adaptive difficulty rating to the lowest setting. This in turn lowers enemies' aggressiveness and their damage output, making for a much easier experience.

Now this all sounds lovely and nice, but this is not what God Hand is about, and seeing Gene bow down and apologize to his attackers is sure to elicit some bewilderment from the playerbase. Get up off the floor and punch them in the d*ck!
