4. Anything For Trish - InFamous

Sucker Punch's InFamous encouraged all of us to channel our inner Emperor Palpatine when it launched in 2009. Its entire city is full of enemies just waiting to munch on an electricity sandwich. If that wasn't enough (and it most certainly is) it also has buildings to climb, people to save and annoying girlfriends to appease. Protagonist Cole MacGrath is desperate to prove to his girlfriend Trish that he's still a nice guy despite having the ability to fart a thousand volts. This leads him to agreeing to transport much-needed medical supplies across the city. What could possibly go wrong? Everything, that's what. It turns out that having a dude surrounded by electricity on top of a bus attracts a lot of unwanted attention. Defending the bus as it makes its way through the city is no easy task when rockets are being fired at it from rooftops, cars block the roads and enemies on the ground attack it from all directions. The problem is balancing when to defend and when to attack. Staying in cover to regenerate health will leave too many unchallenged enemies out there to attack the bus, resulting in it getting destroyed. It doesn't help that Cole's vision gets insanely blurry when he's close to death, making shooting enemies extremely hard. Obviously, not using a cover isn't an option either as Cole will most certainly die. Anything For Trish is a tough challenge that only a few will manage to get through on their first attempt. The rest of us are destined to try multiple times, get bored and then binge on our favourite comfort food while cursing the name Sucker Punch.

When I'm not playing games, I'm probably either writing about them somewhere or singing stupid songs inspired by them. Or eating pizza.
