When the almighty Skyward Sword was announced as the next in line to get the old rub from Nintendo on Switch, the fanbase had but one question:

"Can we tell Fi to shut the F up??"

Lo and behold, YES you could finally mute this rogue AI instantly putting this remaster into the 10/10 category for many, as she really did destroy the experience of the 2011 original.

After nearly every new item, object of interest, or location Fi would pop up to tell the player some "hilarious" stats and facts about the situation, something that killed the pacing dead. Infuriated players would begin mashing the skip button the moment she popped up, and it was even worse when she decided to pause the action to tell you your controller needed charging.

Bless her, Fi's heart was in the right place, but with this sheer level of forced interaction, it felt like having your little sibling walk in and comment on every action you were making.

You can't be mad at them for showing interest but at the same time... please leave me the F alone.
