8 Video Games That Insulted You For 100% Completion

Now this achievement is particularly grubby when it comes to acting as a direct insult to fans, yet strangely it's not because of what it asks you to do in the game itself or comes from a ridiculous and humiliating quest, but from what the developer's Ensemble Studios did to fans who happened to buy a copy of their otherwise outstanding Age Of Empires 2 outside of a specific launch window.

This is because when it comes to the Dark Ages Rush or Early Adopter achievement, you could only get this unlock, and thus hit 100 percent completion if you happened to pre-order the HD Edition of the game!

Everyone else who was too late to the party was stuck out in the cold just looking in at the chance of perfecting the game making out with the office temp and then receiving an email with his hairy bare cheeks as the attached image the next morning.

It's a bit of an insult to players arriving on the scene after the pre-order window and being treated with less respect than those who ponied up the dough, as you might settle in to complete this otherwise fantastic experience and be held at arm's length by this one true and blue bastard of a trophy!
